1^st Annual Solidarity Days - June 19^th & 20^th 
 

      The public is invited to the 1^st Annual Solidarity Days June 19^th and 20^th sponsored by the Ahiska Turkish American Community Center of Dayton, located at 2324 Stanley Avenue, Dayton OH.  This event is free and open to the public from 01:00pm to 04:00pm at Engineers Club of Dayton. The Ahiska Turkish American Community Center of Dayton is hosting this event an effort to bridge relations among the Turkish community and other community groups.  
 

      The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, The Honorable H.E. Namik TAN, will be speaking joined by The Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Kenan IPEK.  Several local, state and national officials will also be in attendance. Ambassador Namik TAN will share on the topic of the Importance of American relations, Ahiska Turks and Education.  
 

      The Ahiska Turkish American Community Center of Dayton, OH is honored to highlight its First Annual Solidarity Days. Many Turkish Youth Groups, students from Ohio and 17 other states will join in celebrating two days of educational importance, cultural awareness and mentoring services. The students will be engaged in athletics (soccer and wrestling), educational competitions and some participants will perform in singing and dancing contests. Local cultural sites and the National Museum of the United States Air Force will also be visited. 
 

      We look forward to seeing you June 19^th and 20^th where together we will discover the diversity of our ethnic differences and celebrate the similarities of all people.

1.       05:00 pm- 07:00 pm Ahıska Türk Amerikan Gençler ve Öğrenciler Bilgi Yarışması  

Ahıska Türk Gençleri Bilgi Yarışması

1.       Katılımcı her Şehirden 3 kişilik bilgi yarışması grubu kurulmalı.

2.       Bu grup kendileri arasında seçilmiş ve hazırlanmış olarak programa gelmeleri gerekmekte.

3.       Toplam 50 soru üzerinden en fazla doğru cevabı veren takım birinci, ikinci ve üçüncü seçilecektir.

4.       Bilgi yarışmasına katılan herkese Katılım Sertifikası  verilecektir. 

Sorulacak soruların konuları:

a.       Ahıska Türkleri Tarihi hakkında Sorular  – 10 soru

b.      Ahıska Türkleri Vatanı, Ahıska Coğrafyasından Sorular  – 10 soru

c.       Ahıska Türkeri Kültürü, Örf ve Adetlerinden Sorular  – 10 soru

d.      Türkiye ve ABD’nin Tarihi, Coğrafyası ve Genel Kültüründen Sorular  – 10 soru

e.      Dünyada Güncel Olaylar ile ilgili Sorular – 10 soru
